Transient Mode with Trigger

Transient Mode with Trigger

Description of the Evaluation Method

With this method the analogue signal is digitally sampled and stored in equidistant time intervals. As this kind of recording requires a large amount of storage capacity, the sampling rate for each channel can be adjusted separately in a wide range (between 0.001 Hz and 2.000 Hz per channel). To economise the memory consumption further the user is supported by various trigger functions, including pre- and post-trigger to gain additional information about the time history of the signals. Additionally markers can be put into the data stream.

Typical Applications and Properties

The method TM can be applied in all cases where the continuous signal-time history shall be retained.
